LEGO Archive - Images

This document is part of the Guide to the unofficial LEGO® FTP Archive.

This page is a guide to the directory of images in the unofficial LEGO® FTP archive.

The subdirectories of the image directory are listed below. Note that the following two parts of the images collection are indexed on separate pages:

The ``ads'' subdirectory

This directory is subdivided into two further subdirectories:

The ``animation'' subdirectory

Contents:

The ``catalog'' subdirectory

The files in this directory have moved to a new location, maintained by Jacob Sparre Andersen. There are reportedly over 4 megabytes of images there.

The ``clock_drawing'' subdirectory

Instructions for using a LEGO Technic differential gear to construct a clock face with hour and minute hands. Includes the following files:

The ``instruction_sheets'' subdirectory

Actually this directory contains a whole bunch of images, many of which are not, strictly speaking, instructions. For example, the 0307 files are from the box cover of an old (c. 1960) Danish set. Others show only selected parts of instructions, for example the 8880 files show finished configurations of the Super Car, and 9355-01.gif.gz shows a scene and apparent parts list for a Dacta space base.

The following are relatively recent additions to this directory:
