U.S. Shop-at-Home catalog.
- The ``ads/tv_ad'' subdirectory.
Still frames (ten GIF files, each approx. 150 K)
from an advertisement that ran on Australian TV
to promote the 1994 LEGO Town series.
There is a
brief description
of the plot of the episode.
Contents:
legoblok.fli
(287K).
Presumably, an animated segment for viewing.
recon.fli
(56K).
Presumably, an animated segment for viewing.
play80.zip
(19K).
A zip
-compressed directory containing the executable file
and instructions for a shareware movie viewer. This viewer is
apparently intended only for use on IBM compatible PCs with
an SVGA or compatible graphics card.
The ``catalog'' subdirectory
The files in this directory have moved to a
new location,
maintained by
Jacob Sparre Andersen.
There are reportedly over 4 megabytes of images there.
Instructions for using a LEGO Technic
differential gear to construct a clock face with hour and minute hands.
Includes the following files:
clockHands.gif.gz
(14K GIF).
A small GIF image that you can view instead of the huge PostScript version.
clockHands.gif.README
(1K text).
An explanation of the previous file.
clockHands.ps.Z
(163K Unix .Z
compressed PostScript).
This expands to a 5+ Megabyte PostScript file for displaying the
instructions.
README
(1K text).
An explanation of the previous file.
Actually this directory contains a whole bunch of images,
many of which are not, strictly speaking, instructions.
For example, the 0307
files are from the
box cover of an old (c. 1960) Danish set.
Others show only selected parts of instructions, for
example the 8880
files show finished configurations
of the Super Car, and
9355-01.gif.gz
shows a scene and apparent parts list
for a Dacta space base.
The following are relatively recent additions to this directory:
